Underscore Berma is a self-professed storyteller, selector and traveler which becomes apparent after listening to his music which features rappers from around the globe. Raised in Toronto, Berma has spent time playing in Canada and parts of the US but he’s still somewhat a mystery with only a Soundcloud page and a limited website. His new single ‘like it’s ‘03’ is an addictive beat driven tune featuring a plethora of skilful, rappers and a held house-style pad that sits underneath the track throughout. There are about 5 rappers all with distinctly different accents. A British rapper sings the catchy hook "bosi, bosi, godfather, man a OG... i fly round the world cos I’m bosi." The other rapper that stands out is a woman with a smooth flow, rapping in English and she also slips into Jamaican Patois. ‘Like it’s ‘03’ is a fantastic hip-hop collaboration exploding with creative talent and a mix of genres, check it out! -Ellie Rose-Davies
